Hi, I’m Teo Yu Sheng from Singapore, and I love art.
Not that I’m a professional artist though; I only started painting very recently in May 2012. But then it’s not as if painting were a new found passion either – I’ve always wanted to paint since I was a little boy.
Funny, isn’t it?
I guess there was always this voice in my head telling me that I wasn’t good enough, and that I shouldn’t bother taking the first step. But then, somewhere along the way, my life changed and I began to accept and appreciate myself for who I truly am. And then it hit me – the voice that I have been hearing didn’t come from within my head, but from the outside.
Funny, isn’t it?
And so, I put down my fear of being judged, and began to pursue my dream of painting. The road may still be rough, and the needles may still prick, but I’m pretty sure I know where I’m headed.
So to those of you out there who don’t dare to pursue their dreams, here’s my advice: take some time off your schedule, and take your first step towards your dream; you’ll realise that the remaining steps aren’t that hard to take anymore. And to those voices out there: please, don’t burst my bubble just yet.
* This was written quite some time ago; I now design, paint, sketch, and write short stories.

Other than painting, I also love graphic design, and am a creative designer (PRO, or Publicity & Revenue Orchestrator) at WeCreate.
Here’s something else interesting about me: I have a twin brother who generally has the same taste and interests as me, and who is also a talented painter and graphic designer (visit Just Random Designs).
